Bitsy Farm

Bitsy Farm was established in 2019 raising a small herd of rotationally grazed grass raised and finished cattle. Bitsy farm now raises heritage hogs in pasture and woodland every year and continues to raise cattle.

Charlie and Maja O'Connell own Bitsy Farm. They work collaboratively with neighbors sharing equipment and knowledge. Charlie also runs Compost Bowling Green. He decided to farm out of a love for the land. Later he started composting after seeing how waste could be diverted from the landfill through animal feed and feeding the soil.
